2018 CHRISTMAS VILLAGE AT THE FARM
NOV & DEC 2018
MORE DETAILS COMING SOON!
On Stage Friday Night:
One of the Friday night performers will be local artist Ryan Cain.
Ryan Cain has been involved in music since he was born. His father being the choir leader at their church as a small child and multiple family members playing various instruments and singing, he was bound to catch the music bug eventually. It was at 6 years old his parents realized, music was in his blood. Constantly watching a recorded VHS tape of a live concert Garth Brooks did for NBC. When the tape would end, he rewound it, and watched it again and again. Ryan received his first guitar when he was in 5th grade and taught himself how to play. He then started singing in the church choir and toured with different Southern Gospel Quartets as a teenager. Now married with 4 children, Ryan has decided to follow his dream and start a career in the country music business.
On Stage Saturday...
Jason Addams aka The Mad Fiddler
While out leisurely with colleagues one evening, in Emerald Isle at the Emerald Club, a local band was playing. I proceeded to let them know that they were great and that my name is Jason Addams and I play the electric violin. Three months later, a trial jam practice session was planned and I eventually became in 2010, a member of Big Drink Music Company. In the latter parts of 2016, a solo project began focusing on awareness of the dying arts in the public schools.
Currently, my passion for music and playing the violin continues as my services now include DJ private events, plan the music for weddings and DJ, slideshow and power-point presentations, teach music and violin lessons, and gig locally with local talent in the area.
Jacksonville Performing Arts
On Stage Saturday, April 14t
Jacksonville Performing Arts is an innovative and exciting Theater company that has partnered with the USO of NC, Jacksonville Center. We donate 50% of all ticket sales for every show and have so far donated $6750. We have just completed the 75th Anniversary celebration and performed a sequence of songs dating from the 1940's to the 1960's. We love being able to support our Military community through song, dance and great entertainment... following in the great footsteps of Bob Hope and the love he had for the USO and our Service members.
